Strafford House is a small workshop and studio in Doylestown, PA, in the heart of historic Bucks County.  It is here that we begin our 33rd year creating unique and one-of-a-kind traditional signs, furniture, folk art, and custom paintings. All of our work is handmade with traditional methods, using reclaimed, vintage and antique materials and hardware. Each piece is carefully aged and distressed for an authentic look.  All decoration and lettering is laid out and painted by hand, never stenciled.

Our work can be ordered here, but we can also be seen in many fine shops and museums stores around the country, and our work has been featured in numerous magazines, blogs and home decor websites. We are proud of our past multiple inclusions in Early American Life’s Directory of the 200 Best American Craftsmen.
