Josiah Turner Boot and Shoe Maker
17x42 This sign was done with boards salvaged from a late 18th century beaded board and batten door, and is painted on the original white finely-crackled paint. It features a frame made from antique molding with a half-round edge in black. It is a copy of the Bootmaker's sign from the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art museum in Williamsburg, VA.
