29x47 Painted scene done after Rufus Porter, the noted Early American artist and muralist. Done on antique boards with breadboard ends. The landscape features rolling green hills, grazing sheep, hilltop houses, and a tall foreground tree in the classic Porter style. The aged boards provide strong surface character and an authentic period look.
