Early Antique 4-Door Corner Cupboard in Yellow Pine

PICK-UP ONLY- NO SHIPPING
Offering an early antique 4-door raised panel corner cupboard in yellow pine. This cupboard was purchased many years ago at Alderfer’s auction and was sold as a late 18th century /early 19th century piece. Everything about the construction, hardware, and style agree with that. This is a one-piece cupboard, and measures 83” Tall. It comes out 32” along the wall from the corner. Front to back depth is 22”, and is 46” wide at its widest point, and 37” across the face with the doors. The cupboard is made of yellow pine, and doesn’t look to have ever been painted, as there are no visible traces of paint left. If it was painted, it was stripped many years ago, as it now has a warm brown aged finish.. The doors are mortised and pegged and made with raised panels set inside a thumbnail edge molding detail. The face of the cupboard is in remarkable condition given it’s age. The inside is in only decent shape. There have been a few repairs to the back, and one of the scrolled shelves is missing in the upper section as shown. The good news is that it fits a small TV. The bottom section is missing the bottom shelf. The 7” H hinges are nailed and cinched in place and appear to be original. They look to have been painted black somewhere along the way. Price to sell well below market at only $550.
